The United Way team came to us wanting something bold to stand out in the non-profit space. They gave us complete freedom to develop a new look and were on board for my bright and colorful concept after the first round.
Original brand elements are subtly sprinkled throughout as a nod to their rich history while the modern additions signal their shift from fundraiser to problem solver. The consistent use of black and white grounds the vibrant color palette, and eye-catching type draws attention to the new bold language.
Who are the Waymakers?
To further explain to our audience who the Waymakers are, we developed a video series.
For this video, we filmed at multiple different non-profits around the Greater Kansas City Metro. I worked closely with the copywriter, videographer and motion designer to concept, art direct, and edit the final product. This video was only one of a series that we created to promote our Waymaker concept.
